Master clarinetist and retired professor Deborah Pittman's will provide an informative and unique presentation featuring primarily unknown composers of African descent. This socially relevant and long overdue acknowledgment of the creativity, talent and skill of African composers introduces you to a treasure trove of beautiful music from the time of Mozart to the present. The Symphony's own Carlos McMillan Fuentes is featured on the piano. You will come away with a variety of fresh music perfect for summer listening! Join us on Zoom for a lively presentation and discussion on Saturday, June 12th at 4pm.

Everyone on the Symphony's email list will be sent a Zoom link in advance of the presentation. Use the form below to join the Symphony email list if you are not on it.
