Interested in joining the Symphony?

The Symphony is currently seeking section musicians with intermediate or advanced abilities and prior orchestral experience to fill vacancies for the following instruments during the 2025/2026 Season: Clarinet French Horn Cello First Violin Interested musicians should email symphonydoro@gmail.com, and will be asked to complete an inquiry form on our website, including a brief summary of their training and orchestra experience. A representative from the symphony will then contact you to provide details about the audition process and rehearsal schedule.

Symphony d'Oro is composed of volunteer musicians who enjoy the opportunity to serve the community while continuing their musical development through participation in a full-size symphony orchestra. Now starting its 12th season (2025/2026), the Symphony is sponsored by the City of Rancho Cordova as well as many private sponsors and donations.

The Symphony welcomes both new and continuing musicians of at least intermediate abilities. After you contact us, and assuming we have openings for your instrument, prospective members may be asked to audition and/or be asked to play in several rehearsals on a trial basis for a concert, providing you with an introduction to the group, as well as an opportunity for the section leader and our conductor to evaluate your abilities.
