Symphony d'Oro is excited to offer FREE tickets to all Rancho Cordova students for the Symphony's upcoming concert featuring world-renowned violinist Rachel Barton Pine. Ms. Pine thrills international audiences with her dazzling technique and lustrous tone, and the Rancho Cordova community gets to hear her right here in our own Performing Arts Center on Sunday, April 26, 2026 at 4pm. The concert also features City Portraits Symphony, a work by local composer and Symphony pianist Carlos McMillan Fuentes, celebrating Rancho Cordova in four movements, each evoking a unique location in our city. Learn more about the concert and performers here.
Here are the details about the Kids Go Free offer:
These complimentary tickets are made possible through the support of the City of Rancho Cordova and Symphony d'Oro donors. If you find you're unable to attend, please let us know as soon as possible so we can pass your ticket along to another deserving student.
Please note that this is a full symphony concert (approximately 2 hours), not a family or children's concert. The hushed attention of a concert hall is part of what makes live classical music so powerful — and we ask that all attendees, young and adult alike, come ready to listen attentively and quietly so everyone can share in this extraordinary evening.
To order your tickets, send an email to symphony.doro@gmail.com with the following information:
If tickets remain available, we will reply with instructions on how to reserve your free student seat(s) alongside the purchase of your adult ticket(s).
About Symphony d'Oro Rancho Cordova: If you're not familiar with us, we are a local symphony orchestra based in Rancho Cordova that has been bringing live orchestral music to our community since 2013. We typically offer four performances each year featuring classical favorites, pops music, and original commissioned works. Most of our concerts are free to the public — made possible in part by our annual fundraiser concert, which is the performance you're joining us for on April 26!
Many thanks to the City of Rancho Cordova for its support of this offer, as well as the Symphony's other sponsors who help us bring live symphonic concerts to our community year-round!
